What Derma.Log is
Derma.Log is a private dermatology logging and observation tool. It helps users document, organize, review, export, and discuss skin observations over time.
Derma.Log may include skin spot records, entries, images, notes, symptom tracking, body-area labels, reminders, analysis and visualization surfaces, export tools, backup tools, and account or storage features.
What Derma.Log is not
Derma.Log is not a medical provider. Derma.Log does not:
- Diagnose disease.
- Rule out disease or serious medical conditions.
- Provide cancer screening or cancer clearance.
- Replace medical professionals.
- Provide emergency care, treatment, prescriptions, clinical triage, or clinical treatment decisions.
Users should contact qualified medical professionals for medical concerns and local emergency services for urgent or emergency symptoms.
User responsibility
Users are responsible for:
- Deciding when to seek medical care and following professional medical advice.
- Entering accurate information and reviewing records before relying on them.
- Reviewing exports before sharing and protecting exported files.
- Maintaining account access and managing subscriptions through the relevant billing provider when needed.
Users should not delay medical care because of Derma.Log.
Account use and user content
Users may need an account to use cloud-backed Derma.Log features. Users are responsible for keeping account access secure and should notify support if they believe their account has been accessed without permission.
Users may create or upload skin images, spot logs, records, entries, notes, symptoms, body-area labels, reminder data, export files, and backup files. Users should only upload content they have the right to store and process, and should be careful before uploading images or notes about another person.
Acceptable use
Users must not use Derma.Log to:
- Violate the law or upload content they do not have permission to use.
- Harass, exploit, or harm others.
- Attempt unauthorized access to another account or interfere with the service.
- Upload malicious files or code.
- Misuse exports or backups.
- Misrepresent Derma.Log output as a medical diagnosis.
Medical disclaimer and reminders
Derma.Log output is informational and organizational only. Risk labels, timelines, visualizations, reminders, reports, histories, datasets, and backups do not provide diagnosis or medical clearance.
Reminders are organizational tools. They do not determine whether medical care is needed. Missing, delaying, disabling, or failing to receive a reminder is not medical guidance.
Exports and backups
Derma.Log may allow users to export or back up records. Exports and backups may contain sensitive personal data. Users are responsible for reviewing exported files before sharing them.
Once a user shares, saves, uploads, prints, or transfers files outside Derma.Log, Derma.Log may not be able to control or delete those external copies. Restore behavior is limited to current app support and should not be assumed beyond what the app explicitly provides.
Subscriptions and storage limits
Derma.Log subscriptions are intended to support account storage and continued service operation. Subscription limits may restrict new storage growth, such as creating new records or uploading new images.
Existing owned history should remain accessible across subscription transitions. Privacy and dignity controls should not be premium-only. Cancellation, refund, tax, and billing-history handling may depend on the billing provider.
Account deletion
Users may be able to delete their Derma.Log account. Account deletion is intended to be permanent once completed. Users should export or back up records they want to keep before deleting their account.
Account deletion does not delete files already exported, shared, saved, printed, uploaded, or transferred outside Derma.Log. It may not automatically cancel billing-provider subscriptions or remove billing-provider records.
Privacy and research boundary
Derma.Log's privacy behavior is described in the Privacy Policy. Private use remains private by default. Ordinary private account use is not an active research contribution program.
Any future research or dermatologic evidence contribution feature must be separate from ordinary private use, require explicit consent, and be separately governed before activation.
Service changes and availability
Derma.Log may change, improve, limit, pause, or discontinue features over time. The service may depend on device features, operating systems, cloud services, internet connectivity, app stores, billing providers, and third-party infrastructure.
Users should not rely on Derma.Log as the only place to preserve important medical or personal records. Users should export or back up important records when needed.
Support
Support messages may be used to respond to user issues and improve service quality. Support is not medical care. Users should contact qualified medical professionals for medical concerns.
